Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.
Hours are published for 2 days a week. Typical hours are 11 AMβ8:45 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (281) 261-2288. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, rakitx.com.
Customers rate it 4.3 out of 5 on Google across 334 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded chinese restaurants in Missouri City.
Missouri City is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Traffic in Missouri City peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This is purely a review of their Indonesian menu/dishes. We have never tried the other dishes (Chinese & Japanese). Raki is one of the few restaurants in Houston area that offers Indonesian dishes. We have tried virtually all the Indonesian dishes on their menu and they did not disappoint. Sure, the spice and heat level have been adapted to Houston/Western standard, but it's as close as one can get without being at the source.

Some of the best egg drop soup that I have had. It has some black pepper in it but is very flavorful. The chicken with broccoli has a brown sauce but a unique and distinctive flavor. It was slightly salty but some of the best I have had. The vegetables were undercooked. I also like the egg drop soup and the service here was fast. I tried the egg foo young and the patties were very flavorful. I think they could have drained the oil a little longer but it was a busy night for them and my food wasn't ready until 20 mins after I was told it would be ready. I had the Moo Goo Gai Pan and it was very flavorful. I also think that they should make their gravy for the patties thicker. It was very watery. I also had the Singapore Rice Noodles and it was a little over seasoned and could have used twice the amount of proteins. If you want animal products in your noodles you will have to pay the extra fees for it or you will find it hard to find chicken in the noodles (not to mention the other meats).

Absolutely delicious Indonesian food in an unpretentious spot in Missouri City on Hwy 6. Iβm so happy I found this place from a recommendation by a person I know in Missouri City who I asked what is the best restaurant in town and they did not hesitate one second & said here. I had a couple of Indonesian dishes and both were outstanding. Indonesian lady attending to me was super friendly, attentive and made feel welcome. Food was prepared fresh so wasnβt out in an instant but out in a reasonable amount of time - Iβd prefer to wait a few extra minutes for freshly prepared food. Place was impeccably clean and prices were reasonable. This place is a gem. Iβll definitely be back every time Iβm in Missouri City!!!

First time here on a Saturday night, no one was dining in. Service was ok, food came out fast. Sweet & Sour chicken was not what I was expecting, just fired chicken with some sauce, very plain. The won ton soup was a little bit cold. Overall not a bad experience but it could have been better.

We visited this restaurant because they serve Indonesian cuisine. One wait staff was friendly but the other one was not. He has this grumpy face and did not seem like heβs happy being there. The restaurant seems to be understaff because we tend to have to wait to order. A lot of to go orders and less visitors in general. 8 Soto Ayam 3/5 It was good but I prefer noodle in my soup 20 Mee Goreng 4/5 This was really tasty but it lacks consistency. Our recent order was not good as it was wet. 12 Ayam Bali 4/5 This was spicy and good 7 Mie Ayam Jamur 4/5 This is something unique. Itβs nice but the portion could be increased.
